The best 5 days of my life happened in Antarctica.
O.K., I’m not including the day I got married or the birth of my 3 kids. But after that, it’s the Antarctica landscape. Easy.
Picture
mountains with dramatic exposure, rising right out of the sea to tower
thousands of feet above you. Then dump fifty to a hundred feet of snow
over everything. Then add tens of thousands of penguins waddling about.
Finally, drop icebergs the size of city blocks into the water.
You’re
getting close. Another huge part of the trip was the boat of over a
hundred people I shared it with. You know that feeling you get when
you’re reunited with your best friend after a long time apart? How you
just pick right up where you left off? It was like that, but with
complete strangers.
"Gentoo, Parading" was taken during one of the many, many opportunities to watch
the Gentoo penguins' behavior up close. They followed well worn penguin
highways between nests and the water. The squawked at each other over
territory. They bent low in greeting. They'd wander over to where we
sat, quiet sometimes venturing within feet of us.
Bring
the quirky landscape of the south pole into your home. With this
Antarctica photography, you’ll be able to enjoy this beautiful moment
every day.

What's great about open editions, you ask?
Open editions highlight some of the amazing places I've been lucky enough to experience. They're perfect for collecting on a budget.
Open editions can be bought by anyone who is interested. You also might find them on a puzzle.
If you're interested in something a little more rare, have a look at my limited editions. Unlike open editions, a limited number of prints will be made, and then no one can buy them again.
