Rocky Mountain National Park was the first "major" park I was attempting to shoot for my dark sky project.
I needed to navigate getting a timed entry pass, making it there with enough time to scout after oversleeping near Devil's Tower, plus finding spots that wouldn't be spoiled by light and people.
After driving up and over the iconic Trail Ridge road, I had a problem I wasn't expecting - there were too many locations I wanted to take pictures of Rocky Mountain National Park from! I organized my notes and made some hard decisions, but I had a plan to work my way east and chase the light from sunset to astronomical twilight.
My last stop for the night was Many Parks Curve. Normally packed with people and cars, this popular location was completely empty. It gave me plenty of time to capture this Rocky Mountain National Park picture of Longs Peak, the forest, and sky in solitude.
This stop was part of a cross-country road trip to visit 14 NPS sites and capture the beauty of our public lands at night.

What makes a limited edition special, you ask?
All my limited editions represent rare, fleeting moments. They’re also the shots I’m most proud of. They represent the top 0.1% of all the photos I shoot. To reflect that they’re one-of-a-kind, I’m only printing small batch, and that’s it.
Yours will be hand numbered and signed. It also includes a printed and digital certificate of authenticity recorded on the blockchain. You will also get a copy of the bill of sale.
This limited edition includes all sizes and formats. Meaning each print, regardless of size or material, is part of the same run. There is also an artist's proof run of 10.
