I visited Yosemite in April of 2022 with the aim of getting some shots of the Pink Moon (My main focus was getting a shot of the moonbows). The night of the full moon, I hiked five miles and 3,200 feet up Four Mile trail to get to Glacier Point. The road was closed, and parts of the trail were still covered in snow.
After a jaw dropping hike up during sunset, I hit Glacier Point as the moon was rising to the east.
The skies were clear and cold as I tried shooting the full moon with all my tools I rented for the job. With a 400mm telephoto lens and a 2x converter, I was able to punch right into the moon and the landscape of the Sierras. Which also meant I could watch it move across my viewfinder away from the horizon. For something that moves so slow, it moved really fast! I was continually adjusting to keep it in frame.
As the night wore on, I danced around to stay warm. After shooting the moonbow, hiking down from here between 1:30am and 5am was a little outside my comfort zone. Like I said, I was by myself, but I could see headlamps across the valley above Yosemite Falls, and over by the trail up to Mirror Lake. So I wasn't alone in spirit? I still carried my tripod extended like a weapon all the way down.

What makes a limited edition special, you ask?
All my limited editions represent rare, fleeting moments. They’re also the shots I’m most proud of. They represent the top 0.1% of all the photos I shoot. To reflect that they’re one-of-a-kind, I’m only printing small batch, and that’s it.
Yours will be hand numbered and signed. It also includes a printed and digital certificate of authenticity recorded on the blockchain. You will also get a copy of the bill of sale.
This limited edition includes all sizes and formats. Meaning each print, regardless of size or material, is part of the same run. There is also an artist's proof run of 10.
